Cameron + Reed threw an amazing party at the Island House back in November! I knew that this was going to be a great wedding from the moment I met them! Trust me when I say you’d want to be friends with these two! I got to know them during their engagement session and then the months following leading up to their wedding. They are definitely one of those couples that are not just head over heels for each other, but they are truly best friends who compliment each other so well! More couples like Cameron + Reed? Yes please!!!
This was wedding was a blast to photograph! Couples, bridal parties, and families like this are why this NEVER feels like work to me. I can’t say it enough, but I am so grateful to witness so many happy events for a living!
The news was calling for rain that day, but thankfully there was not a single drop! It was a chilly fall day, but you would not have known if you were under the tent at The Island House. Let me just add that the Island house has a little Tuscany vibe with the Cypress trees in front of it. I would definitely love to shoot here again! The wedding was coordinated by the lovely ladies of Intrigue Events, who put on flawless event. I loved Cameron + Reed’s color palette. The white and green florals by Bliss in Bloom Charleston were absolutely stunning. It was perfect for a fall coastal wedding in Charleston..
Cameron + Reed said their I do’s during an outdoor ceremony on the banks of the Stono River. You can’t beat a venue that allows you to walk 25 yards from the ceremony to the reception! Am I right? The party kicked off immediately following the ceremony. Their guests danced (and I mean danced!) up until the very last song. The night ended with a grand glowing exit! Cameron + Reed, you two are one of a kind. I wish you both the best! Thank you for allowing me to capture your day!
