Laura and Alex were MEANT to be. They met in a bar one night while out with friends. Both decided last minute to go out, and BAM. A couple years later they are husband and wife. Ladies, you just never know when prince charming will walk into your life. Alex is definitely Laura’s prince charming. I love hearing how my couples meet!

Alex and Laura’s wedding was absolutely stunning. Laura’s entire family played a part in creating the most special day for her and Alex. Laura’s father did a 10 year study on the farmer’s almanac to make sure that the date November 2 would be a good one, and let me tell you it was the PERFECT fall day! How genius is that? Laura and Alex were married on the campus of the Hammond School where Laura attended school. The ceremony was at the Dorothy Walker Chapel, a chapel that her father oversaw the construction for. I was so impressed by the attention to detail that went into the planning of this day! Her mother is a florist and made sure that there was no shortage of flowers. Her sisters stood by her side as bridesmaids, and were so helpful in making the day go as planned for Laura. It literally takes a village to plan a wedding! Your wedding day is certainly an excuse to go all out for your guests. Laura and Alex gave their guests a one of a kind experience.

Laura and Alex’s love that day was radiating throughout the whole day. The way they looked at each other during the ceremony and at the reception was the absolute sweetest!! Their first dance to “All of Me” by John Legend played by their band Rhythm Nation was one of my favorites. The Columbia Museum of Art is a spectacular venue. It’s a huge space, and that is perfect for a classy southern wedding. Alexandra Madison Weddings coordinated an awesome event! It was an amazing party for their friends and family. The dance floor was packed all night. The evening ended with a sendoff with personalized monogrammed rally towels and a few Gamecock chants!

Laura and Alex, you two are the REAL deal. I am so excited for your marriage and to see what is in store for you both in the future. Thank you for choosing me to be a part of such a special day!
