2019 was full of change personally and in my business. Personally it was marked with the birth of our son, Roman, who came into the world on Memorial Day! Much of 2019 was spent navigating being a new mom and of course LOTS of baby snuggles (and photos obviously).
In terms of business, 2019 has been the biggest growth I’ve seen to date! Since Roman was due right in the middle of wedding season, I was forced to step back for a few months from photographing. The last thing I wanted to do was go into labor or not be 100 percent to photograph someone’s wedding. It was a hard decision, but ultimately it was the BEST one. This time allowed me to really focus on continuing education, growing my business, styled shoots and connecting with all of the fabulous couples that will be part of my 2020 lineup. I’m so excited to see what 2020 has in store for all of you! I know I’m looking forward to each and every wedding that I’ll be photographing! I’m only accepting a handful more for the year, which is so crazy to think about! If you scroll to the bottom of this post, you’ll see some venue’s that I’m headed to for 2020! The farthest I’ll be traveling so far for a wedding in 2020, is to the Midcoast of Main! There are a few venues I’ll be at multiple times! Like the Creek Club at I’on. I’ll be seeing that venue 4 times in 2020! I’m so grateful for this job and all of the couples that have put their trust in me with memories. Happy 2020 everyone!
