Kristen + Tom get married this May at the Creek Club at I’On! Their engagement session got me even more excited for their upcoming wedding. Lately, I have been working with the most wonderful couples. Easy going, passionate, classy, and kind. Have I ever told you that I just ADORE engagement sessions? Why? Well an engagement session is a solid two hours that I can connect with couples and learn more about their unique dynamic. Every couple has a story, and it’s my job to visually create that. Engagement sessions are the first step in creating that story. Oh and did I mention that all of my Wedding Collections include engagement sessions? They are so important!
Kristen and Tom arrived to the session in their first outfit, which was the dressier option. Kristen loves a blue and pink color combo like me, so I knew we needed to find some pink pastel walls (not hard to find in Charleston). We were on a mission that day to capture pretty pastels, and I think we accomplished it!
Here is the story of Kristen + Tom. They met when out to brunch in Charleston with some mutual friends. When they went out that day, both Kristen + Tom thought they were just going to get some mimosas and brunch with friends. Neither one knew it would bring them their future spouse! Isn’t it crazy how life works? One decision you make can impact the rest of your life!
Now on to the proposal! Tom proposed one evening at The Battery. Kristen was a little spooked at first because it was dark, and she wasn’t feeling the walk they were on. The next thing she knew, Tom was down on one knee asking her to be his wife!
