I first met Niki + Micah at one of my favorite coffee shops in Mount Pleasant, Vintage Coffee, back in May! Any clients that I met during the month of May got to see me SUPER pregnant. Every time I met a client that month, I prayed that I would not go into labor during the meeting. I mean, can you imagine??? Anyways, I love this coffee shop not only for the coffee and great food, but I absolutely love the interior! I’d say the decor is coastal rustic, which is my favorite combination. Blues, whites, grays, all day long! It’s the perfect vibe to meet my potential brides and grooms while sipping on a cappuccino or iced coffee.
At that meeting Niki + Micah asked me to be their wedding photographer at their Merchants Hall wedding next August. I was thrilled because we all hit it off immediately, and they were definitely my kind of couple…super laid back and FUN! They were not afraid to laugh and joke around with each other, and in my book that’s a win! During that meeting we planned their engagement shoot, and they asked if it would be ok for Micah’s twin girls to join the session, which of course the answer was YES!
A couple of months later, when I met their little family in White Point Garden, I was greeted by the most adorable little girls dressed in all white. I knew they would add so much spunk to the session, and I was right! We started off photographing all four of them, and then Niki, Micah and I strolled around downtown Charleston to get some fun intimate photos of the two of them. Guys, these two were total troopers, not even complaining once about the excessive heat…and let me tell you it was HOT. They were so natural in front of the camera and I just LOVE the way their photos turned out. Scroll down to see the full downtown Charleston engagement session, and Niki’s gorgeous ring!
