Meghan + Zach were high school sweethearts, and now husband and wife! They were married in February at Blessed Sacrament Church in West Ashley with their reception following at Pepper Plantation in Awendaw. The venue is miles from the hustle and bustle of Charleston, but it’s the perfect location for a romantic rustic wedding any time of year!
Meghan + Zach are were so easy to photograph! The two of them didn’t need much guidance when it came time to their couples portraits. Part of this is how comfortable they are with each other, and the other part is that this is not their first time in front of my camera. This is one of the main reasons that I include engagement photos in all of my wedding collections. It’s so important for couples to have that “practice round” of photos before the big day.
I loved the overall vibe of this wedding. The lavender bouquets and details remind me of Italy where fields of lavender are common. The party at Pepper Plantation was a good one. Meghan+ Zach never left the dance floor, and neither did their guests. The catering by Rodney Scott’s BBQ was top notch of course. My pregnant self appreciated that great meal after a long day or photographing!
Days after the wedding Meghan + Zach left for their tropical honeymoon. Based on the photos that I’ve seen so far, it looks like they had an amazing time!
Meghan + Zach, thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding!
xoxo Liz
