A brand new puppy is the perfect excuse for any couple to book a photoshoot! Abby and Chris knew they needed to capture the cuteness of their brand new boxer Jax, and I’m so glad they chose me as the photographer. It was a cold day on Isle of Palms, so we worked quickly! In case you can’t tell from the photos, Abby and Chris ADORE the new addition to their family. Jax was too young to get down and run around on the beach, but it was probably better off because I just love how Abby and Chris are cradling him to keep him warm…almost like he’s a newborn!

I also think it’s worth pointing out how stylish Abby and Chris look. Am I right? I mean, I love the way Abby accessorized her outfit. The hat, scarf and chunky white sweater are a perfect combination. Chris’ jacket is the perfect balance to Abby’s off white ensemble. Jax of course fits into this color scheme with his beautiful caramel colored fur. Choosing outfits for photos can be stressful. I can tell you from experience. I know that any time Marc and I get photos done, I’m always overthinking what we should wear.
