I’ve been so fortunate to have worked with some amazing couples this spring! January and February are always busy months for wedding bookings, which means engagement photos are not far behind! I love this time of year because I get to meet so many of my couples for the following wedding season.
Emily + Alex had a perfect day for their photos! They met at PA school at MUSC, and recently got engaged in Asheville NC back in February. They’ll be getting married next spring at the Creek Club at a Ion, and I can’t wait!
The two of them love spending time outside, especially at the beach, so it was more than appropriate to choose Isle of Palms for their engagement photos. It was 72 degrees that day with clear skies. The beach was packed to start, but you would never know from the photos because these two dove right in and immediately started creating some magic! I always tell couples the first 20 minutes can sometimes be the most uncomfortable, but Emily + Alex assured me that they were weren’t. The two of them look amazing in every photo. I really can’t find a bad one, which makes me even more pumped for their wedding!
Towards the end of the shoot Emily’s mom and brother arrived with their two pups Link and Boomer. I love when couples include dogs in their photos because it naturally creates fun candid moments and adds some variety to the engagement gallery. Plus why exclude family members? Am I right?
Emily + Alex enjoy this year of wedding planning. You two have so much to celebrate. I’m looking forward to May 2020!
xoxo
